What we keep, and for how long.

This notice explains what personal data TarsusGospel collects, why, how long it is kept, and the rights of the persons whose data we hold. Governing laws: the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Turkey's Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK, Law No. 6698).

Data we collect

• Email address, given by you when you subscribe or submit a cipher guess.
• Language preference (en / tr).
• IP address and user agent at the moment of submission, for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
• Your guess word, to count solvers and identify patterns of attack.
• If you opt in to the Solvers Wall: first name, city, country, shown publicly on the wall.

Why we collect it

• To send you the campaign letter (when you subscribe).
• To recognise you as a solver, tell you so, and optionally list your first name on the Solvers Wall.
• To keep the service secure (rate-limiting, abuse analysis).

How long we keep it

• Subscribers: while active, plus 12 months after you unsubscribe (to verify future complaints).
• Solvers: kept indefinitely as the Solvers Wall is a permanent campaign register. You may request deletion at any time.
• Events (logs): 24 months, after which personal identifiers are hashed and the rest aggregated.
• Cipher attempts: 6 months, for fraud detection.

Who receives your data

• Resend (our email provider) processes your email to deliver our messages.
• Our server (DigitalOcean, Frankfurt region) stores the data.
• We never sell data. We never share it with advertising networks.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data. We respond within 14 days. Write to hello@tarsusgospel.com.

Saklama süreleri

• Aboneler: abonelik süresince ve iptal sonrası 12 ay.
• Çözenler: süresiz (duvar kalıcıdır). İstediğiniz zaman silinmesini talep edebilirsiniz.
• Olay kayıtları: 24 ay, sonra kimlik bilgileri silinir ve veri toplulaştırılır.
• Şifre denemeleri: 6 ay (kötüye kullanım tespiti).

Haklarınız

Verilerinize erişme, düzeltme, silme veya bir kopya alma hakkınız vardır. 14 gün içinde yanıt veririz. hello@tarsusgospel.com adresine yazın.
